氣動(dòng)隔膜泵的兩個(gè)對稱（symmetry)工作腔中，個(gè)裝有一塊有彈性的隔膜，連桿將兩塊隔膜結(jié)成一體，壓縮空氣從泵的進(jìn)氣接頭進(jìn)入氣閥室后，推動(dòng)兩個(gè)工作腔的隔膜，驅(qū)動(dòng)連桿聯(lián)結(jié)的隔膜同步運(yùn)動(dòng)。

與此同時(shí)，另一工作腔內(nèi)的氣體則其隔膜的背面排出泵外，當(dāng)活塞(piston)達(dá)到行程重點(diǎn)，閥機(jī)構(gòu)則自動(dòng)的將壓縮空氣引入另一工作腔，推動(dòng)氣動(dòng)隔膜泵朝反向運(yùn)動(dòng)，這樣就形成了兩個(gè)隔膜的同步往復(fù)運(yùn)動(dòng)。每個(gè)工作腔中又設(shè)置兩個(gè)股單向球閥(應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域:食品、化工、石油、電力等)，隔膜的往復(fù)運(yùn)動(dòng)，造成工作腔內(nèi)容積(volume)的改變，怕是兩個(gè)單向球閥交替的開啟和關(guān)閉，從而使液體連續(xù)（Continuity)的吸入和排出。
