3、氣動隔膜泵還可以直接潛入水中工作，替代各種潛水排污泵使用可移動，體積小巧重量輕搬運方便，可作移動式泵使用無旋轉(zhuǎn)性零件（或軸承），無機(jī)械軸封，無連接器，維修費用低。

隔膜泵特點
1、無軸封、無泄漏、流道寬敞,所以輸送含顆粒，高粘度〔粘度可達(dá)1萬厘泊〕，易揮發(fā)和腐蝕性介質(zhì)時，不會造成環(huán)境污染和危害人身安荃。
2、無旋轉(zhuǎn)部件，通過性能好，允許通過大顆粒直徑達(dá)10毫米。液體無剪切流動，泵自身部件磨損小。對輸送物損傷小，可輸送污泥和生命體如小魚苗之類。
3、不需灌引水，自吸能力強(qiáng)，吸程高達(dá)7米，長時間干呼吸，對泵不損壞。一旦超負(fù)荷，泵便會自動停機(jī)，負(fù)荷恢復(fù)正常時，能自動啟動運行，具有自我保護(hù)功能〔電動泵無此功能〕。
4、氣動泵揚程達(dá)50米，電動泵達(dá)30米，出口壓力大可達(dá)0.6兆帕。電動泵無此功能，進(jìn)口需裝調(diào)節(jié)閥控制。
5、氣動泵可以浸沒在介質(zhì)中工作，無電源通過，安荃可靠〔電動泵無此性能〕。
6、氣動泵不需電源，更適合易燃、易爆場合的介質(zhì)輸送。

隔膜泵選型

（1）閥芯形狀結(jié)構(gòu)主要根據(jù)所選擇的流量特性和不平衡力等因素考慮。
（2）耐磨損性：當(dāng)流體介質(zhì)是含有高濃度磨損性顆粒的懸浮液時。
（3）耐腐蝕：由于介質(zhì)具有腐蝕性，在能滿足調(diào)節(jié)功能的情況下，盡量選擇結(jié)構(gòu)簡單閥門。
（4）介質(zhì)的溫度、壓力：當(dāng)介質(zhì)的溫度、壓力高且變化大時，應(yīng)選用閥芯和閥座的材料受溫度、壓力變化小的閥門。
