對照品系指用于鑒別、檢查、含量測定的標準物質，包括雜質對照品，不包括色譜用的內標物質。在檢驗工作中我們常會用到一種用來檢查質量的特殊參照物α-倒捻子素——標準物質（對照品）。它在檢驗中具有十分重要的地位。隨著儀器分析的廣泛使用，必將越來越多地使用標準物質。就來介紹一下如何對對照品進行保存和使用：
1）使用中檢所對照品時，應嚴格按說明書執(zhí)行。一般情況下，供鑒別、檢查用的對照品不能用于含量測定。紅外鑒別用的對照品使用時應注意與樣品在晶型上的差異，必要時可采用相同的方法對樣品和對照品重結晶。例如*鈉具有多種不同的晶型，可用丙酮對樣品和對照品重結晶后測定，以確保二者晶型和紅外光譜圖的*。
2）除另有規(guī)定外，對照品使用時應采用適宜的方法測定其水分的含量，按干燥品（或無水物）進行計算后使用，否則會造成含量測定結果偏高。對熱穩(wěn)定的對照品可直接干燥后使用；對熱不穩(wěn)定的對照品可同時另取一份作干燥失重，扣除水分后使用。此外，對照品若含有結晶水或鹽基，使用時應注意其換算。
3）由中國生物制品檢定所提供的對照品或對照品為法定對照品，以法定對照品作對照標化的原料可稱為二級對照品或工作對照品。生產單位為節(jié)約成本，可使用工作對照品進行日常檢驗，但檢驗所必須使用法定的對照品，出具的檢驗報告書才具有法律效力。
4）對照品應按說明書規(guī)定的條件妥善保存，一般置干燥陰涼處保存，某些對照品如*等需避光低溫保存。要注意對照品的使用期限，過期、變質的對照品不宜再使用。開瓶后建議短期內用完，避免開瓶后*不用，同時，在重復使用過程中應盡量避免對照品的分解、污染或吸潮。（更多質量檢測、分析測試、化學計量、標準物質相關技術資料請參考中檢所對照品查詢）
